Lost the device with your passkey? Enter one of your recovery codes. Then create a new passkey on this device.

What happens: the code is used up; every session of your account ends; your other devices get a notification. For 15 minutes this browser can do one thing only: add a new passkey. It cannot see or sign anything.

1. Sign in with the new passkey.
2. In Devices, remove the lost passkey. Mandates it signed stay valid; you can revoke them there in one step.
3. Make new recovery codes (this one is used up).
4. In a team: ask the other members to replace your key on the Team page. Until they do, you cannot sign for the team.
